Make a Reservation

Due to the popularity of Carlisle Canoes, a reservation is always a good idea to avoid disappointment.

When you call to make a reservation you will be asked the following information:

  • Your name/Group name
  • A phone number
  • The trip you are planning on paddling
  • How many canoes and kayaks you wish to reserve
  • The date of your trip
  • The departure time you wish to have, we reserve by the hour
    • Note: We are able to accommodate a limited number of reservations per hour. Reserving early will allow you to have the departure time you would like.

A credit card to hold the reservation. We do not charge your card, but will keep the information on file. On the day of your trip, you'll be asked to present your credit card and we will process the charges. It's important that you remember to bring the card with you. Please make sure to read our cancellation policy.

Hours of Operation

  • Open May 1st to the Middle of October
  • Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4pm (2nd week of September through October by reservation only during the week.)
  • Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm
  • Latest Pick-up Time: 6:30pm (please plan your trip accordingly. Late fees occur for boats later than 6:30pm)

Cancellation Policy

  • Weather – There is no such thing as bad weather, just inadequate clothing. In the event thunderstorms are a high probability, we ask that you wait it out until 1 pm. If bad weather is still in the area, Carlisle Canoes will be happy to write you a rain check that is good for 13 months.
  • You may cancel up to 5 days at no charge.
  • Within 4 days of your trip you will be charged $5 per boat.
  • The day of your trip you will be charged $10 per boat.
  • If no notice of cancellation is received and after two (2) hours past your scheduled departure time your credit card will be charged the full amount of your scheduled trip.
